Brand new in box, never sold, never worn. Large 34mm
x 44mm solid 14 karat yellow gold Benrus Citation in it's original red
clamshell box with original papers. Mint silvered dial with gold applied
batons and buttons and signed "Benrus" with tri-color bar and sub
seconds at 6:00. The watch probably went into the jewelers vault because
of a slightly bent dial at the top around the 12:00. It could easily be
straightened by a jeweler or left as is. We had not even noticed it
until writing this. Original Benrus 17 jewel mechanical movement is
crisp and running like new but we have not opened the case for a
photograph, the movement is guaranteed to be as new and original. Fitted
with it's original genuine brown alligator strap with pigskin lining,
signed by Benrus and with original signed buckle. This watch sold new in
1957 for $150.00 or about $2,400 by today's money. |
